1. General information
The "Final Degree Project" is mandatory. It is carried out during the second quarter of the fourth year of the degree. It refers to the work that, directed by a teacher of the Degree, may deal with any of the philosophical topics addressed in the Degree according to the thematic lines proposed at the beginning of the term by the different teachers of the Degree in Philosophy.
It is recommended to follow the work plan established jointly with the tutor, to attend the authorization sessions (it is recommended that the number of tutorials be four) and to consult the resource GUIDE TO TOOLS AND GUIDELINES FOR A GOOD DFP.
2. Learning results
The student, in order to pass this subject, must demonstrate the following results...
1. Communicate ideas, principles, and theories in the field of philosophical studies in the degree program
2. Master the fundamental techniques of advanced philosophical research
3. Apply the different methodological and historiographical perspectives of philosophical research.
4. Rigorously elaborate complex discourses of philosophical content
5. Evaluate the current state of philosophical knowledge.

5. Assessment system
Global assessment test.
A) Production (80% OF THE FINAL GRADE) and defence (20% OF THE FINAL GRADE) of the DFP.
B) Participation in tutoring sessions will be taken into account. These sessions are mandatory. The projects will have a minimum length of 9,000 words and a maximum length of 15,000 words.
CRITERIA:
Introduction (15%):
Clearly establish the hypotheses and research objectives.
Justify the relevance and pertinence of the topic.
Methodology: (5%):
Report the structure of the work.
The methodology is adapted to the objectives and subject matter of the work.
The treatment of the subject is broad and deep.
Development (50%):
The subject is approached following a logical and orderly structure.
The statements are clearly and coherently presented, satisfactorily argued and sufficiently supported by the bibliography used.
Show ability to interpret information in a complex way.
Conclusions (5%):
Synthesize the results and their position on them.
Suggest lines that give continuity to the research based on the results obtained.
Bibliography: (10%)
The bibliography is sufficient and up to date.
Conforms to one of the common bibliographic citation standards in the field.
